Since its founding in 1856, Burberry outerwear has become an enduring symbol of British style. To celebrate this rich heritage, the iconic brand is launching an immersive campaign featuring pop-ups, in-store activations, and a cinematic showcase tied to the revival of "Shelter," a vintage logo used by the brand between the late 1970s and early 1990s. At the heart of this campaign is the slogan: "It's Always Burberry Weather," a clever nod to both the unpredictable British climate and the durable, weather-resistant nature of Burberry's garments.

The campaign introduces seven iconic outerwear styles that have been thoughtfully reimagined for today: the timeless trench coat, the down jacket, the Harrington, the puffer, the parka, the aviator jacket, and the duffle coat. Each piece blends modern functionality with the brand’s storied craftsmanship, offering a versatile wardrobe built to withstand the elements.

Inspired by Burberry’s history, the new campaign captures the brand’s spirit through a series of stunning visuals and short films, set against the backdrop of the English countryside and the bustling streets of London. The star-studded lineup for the “It’s Always Burberry Weather” campaign includes a mix of loyal brand ambassadors from fashion, football, music, and film. Among the notable faces are BAFTA-winning actor Barry Keoghan, supermodel Cara Delevingne, Chinese actress Zhang Jingyi, English football stars Cole Palmer and Eberechi Eze, BRIT Award-winning rapper Little Simz, and three-time Academy Award winner Olivia Colman.

The Fall 2024 collection showcases Burberry’s ability to honour tradition while embracing innovation. The classic trench coat, for instance, has been updated with B-shaped embellishments and enhanced double-layer rain protection, crafted from lightweight cotton gabardine for improved comfort. The Harrington jacket, a symbol of British subculture, is lined with the brand’s iconic Burberry Check. For those seeking cozy sophistication, the quilted jacket is padded and finished with a touch of corduroy. The puffer, designed for extreme weather, is both reversible and highly functional, while the cotton-twill parka boasts a faux fur-lined hood for added warmth. The aviator jacket, made from shearling, features sleek, modern updates, merging rugged tradition with contemporary style.
