Burberry Opens First Pop-Up Store In Mykonos
Burberry opens the doors of its pop-up store in Nammos Village, Mykonos. The inspiration is the spirit and attitude of the redesigned flagship store at 121 Regent Street in the English house.
The store features a white and pistachio color palette, while the accessories are constructed in a variety of materials and textures, from wood to mirrors and high-gloss finishes. The ground floor has a white canvas wall for visitors to illustrate and decorate.
The pop-up houses the debut collections of Creative Director Riccardo Tisci for Burberry, including the Spring/Summer 2019 collection entitled "Kingdom", which celebrates the return of Tisci to London since he studied at Central Saint Martins over 18 years ago and is inspired by the crucible of creativity and traditions that is the heart of the United Kingdom, from punk and rebel, to formal and refined. The store also features the new Monogram collection by Thomas Burberry, which honors the founder and heritage of the house, through a new TB code interlaced in beige and brown tones.
Burberry Nammos Village is open from today until October 2019.
