In the coming-together of two Italian maisons, Bulgari Jewellery recently partnered with Emilio Pucci to star in its Fall/Winter 2018 runway presentation at Milan Fashion Week.

Marrying joyful, vibrant shades with a play on shapes, volumes and abstract geometries, the collaboration was the ultimate celebration of Italian glamour. In this joint appearance, both Bulgari and Pucci recounted their own ties with the US: Pucci mixed the alluring with the sporty by drawing inspiration from Marylin Monroe, while Bulgari threw back to the '70s with bold, exuberant jewellery pieces from its High Jewellery and Heritage Collections.

From oversized sautoir necklaces to chandelier earrings and Star Spangled Banner earrings studded with coral and Lapis Lazuli, the Bulgari creations seen on the runway were a vibrant expression of the irreverent and eclectic creativity of the 70’s.
