Beyoncé Blings Out in Gucci X Balenciaga for Date Night with Jay-Z
The Black Is King star wore an ensemble from Gucci's Hacker Project with Balenciaga.
Beyoncé has never been one to shy away from an outrageous fashion moment, but her recent night on the time with Jay-Z is certainly one for the books. While hanging out with her hubby, the "Formation" wore pieces from one of this year's biggest fashion collaborations, Gucci's Fall/Winter 2021 collection with Balenciaga, and let's just say... it was stunning.
The artist paired a crystal-encrusted silver blazer signed by both brands in the standard Balenciaga font with more bedazzled "pantaleggings"—a classic Balenciaga find—marked with Gucci's signature double-G monogram.
She accessorised the ensemble with a crystal-covered Gucci bag shaped like an anatomical heart, translucent cat-eye sunglasses, silver hoop earrings from Messika, and fingerless gloves to match her bottoms.
The Gucci x Balenciaga collection, known as the Hacker Project, broke the standard when it comes to traditional fashion shows. The concept of two fashion designers leading two major Maisons joining forces on a single collection was hailed by fans and fashion insiders everywhere for recentering the joy of creativity as the focal point of fashion.
