Betty Catroux is the face of the new Saint Laurent Fall 2018 campaign
In 1967, Betty Catroux met Yves Saint Laurent and soon became muse to the French couturier, sharing a close relationship with him until his death. 50 years later, Catroux still holds a special place at the Saint Laurent fashion house — this time, as the face of its new Fall 2018 #YSL15 campaign by Anthony Vaccarello.
Shot by photographer David Sims, the campaign features the former model and fashion icon looking effortlessly chic in a classic ensemble of a leather jacket and a pair of sunglasses.
In another shot, she exudes an androgynous allure as she dons the latest incarnation of Saint Laurent's Le Smoking jacket, a piece that she helped achieve an iconic status. Talk about coming full circle.
