A Roundup of the Best Dressed Celebrities at the 2021 Cannes Film Festival
After its cancellation in 2020 due to the global pandemic, the Cannes Film Festival is finally back in its physical form — and it did not disappoint. For 74 years, the event has not only showcased the best in film but fashion as well.
As you may already know, Cannes is no ordinary film festival. Due to its reputation as a premier showcase for the visual arts and couture, the event is inherently strict in its dress code for attendees — code for red carpet glamour all the way.
Celebrities like Bella Hadid and Jessica Chastain brought the glamour in full force with their display of haute couture throughout the weekend. Bella made her appearance for the premiere of “Three Floors”, wearing a gorgeous black Schiaparelli dress from the brand’s Haute Fall/Winter 2021 couture collection and accentuated her neck with a statement piece in the shape of lungs.
Actress Jessica Chastain also came dressed to kill, decked in a black lace Christian Dior Haute Couture gown and accessorised with nearly 200 carats worth of rubies and diamond-embellished jewellery from Chopard's Haute Joaillerie Collection.
