Inside Fendi's New Flagship Store at Marina Bay Sands
The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands is welcoming a brand new Fendi Flagship store that promises harmony between Roman heritage and luxurious modernity.
The Fendi men’s and kids' boutique – that have already opened in August of 2020 – will welcome a new women’s ready-to-wear, accessories and leather goods section at Marina Bay Sands. Fendi’s flagship boutique now boasts a total of 641 square metres, offering a luxurious and spacious two-level boutique for all shopping desires.
The boutique follows the Fendi One concept, reflecting the House’s identity and seamlessly integrating Singapore’s timeless sophistication into its structure. The façade, bright and transparent with champagne frames, was uniquely conceived for the Marina Bay Sands location.
Characterised by modules in printed glass and champagne metal details, the entire boutique style is inspired by Fendi’s Astuccio design. Furthermore, the texture of the glasses feature a water effect and led system that, when the Marina Bay Sands’ cascade activates, will simulate the movement of a cascade and mirror the water’s rippling effect. All in all, Fendi's new flagship boutique is a modern and innovative reinterpretation of a fountain, revealing from the outside, the charme and charisma that will be found inside.
The top level of the boutique reveals the women’s ready-to-wear, accessories, bags and shoes – all elegantly and gracefully presented on champagne displays with tubular structures and encased in Arabescato Vagli marble and silver metal. The hues of soft ivory contrasted to a cool grey create an atmosphere of understated luxury and give the level a sense of classy femininity.
Making our way down the staircase will lead to the men’s – one that exudes masculinity and warmth. The latest ready-to-wear, bags, shoes, and accessories are stylishly displayed on dark green lacquered and cork shelves. Meanwhile, the kids and “mini-me” sections are more playful and radiate a cheeky spirit allowing young ones to immerse themselves into the Fendi universe.
The entire design of the boutique is one that is true to the spirit of Fendi, meant to represent a balance between tradition and innovation. The evocative Italian Arabescato Vagli marble flooring set throughout the boutique call upon the historical architecture of Roman churches and define a sense of splendidness to one’s shopping experience. The furniture represents a selection of bespoke and design pieces, while the fitting rooms, a combination of silk and metal, express a feeling of whispered luxury.
