5 Ways to Style the Influencer Favourite Kelly Green

The Y2k hype isn't going anywhere. Kelly Green is a shade that evokes the vibrantly youthful feel of the era, effortlessly injecting a dose of early '00s nostalgia into any outfit. This aesthetic has been spotted on fashionistas such as Lena Gercke, Valeria Lipovetsky, Thássia Naves and Maxine Wylde.  

German model Lena Gercke, Brazillian blogger Thássia Naves and Australian fashion influencer Maxine Wylde were all spotted in cropped tops with strappy ties that wrapped around the torso for an added touch of Y2k. The tops were teamed with high-waisted pants, with Gercke opting for high-waisted jeans in a cool, faded emerald zebra print while Naves teamed her knit halter with wide-legged, two-tone jeans that featured a unique, vertical wave design on each pant leg. Wylde teamed her stain wrap front top with a more flowy, relaxed pant bottom that featured the Y2k swirl print in a brighter lime green swirled in with the Kelly Green. 

Cute matchy-matchy bags in the form of Gucci's Bamboo 1947 Mini Top Handle Bag and Bottega Veneta's Jodie bag in a fur and weave variations completed their looks. Gercke's choice of a fur textile bag amped up the Y2k vibe of her ensemble. The vivid, citrusy green teamed with the Jodie Bag's chic, curved silhouette lent a fresh, modern twist to an it accessory of the '90s and early '00s. 

Model and fashion influencer Valeria Lipovetsky's summer-perfect outfit featured Kelly Green on ombre dip-dyed shorts and a matching cover-up. This breezy, on-trend yet nostalgic look incorporated retro elements like a Kelly Green gingham bikini top that picked up on the green of the shorts and cover-up, braided rope sandals and a straw hat. 

Strikingly contrasting, the pink and green and purple and green colour combination has been spotted on some of Instagram's hottest influencers, including Leonie Hanne, Amy Julliette Lefévre and Marianne Theodorsen.
