Zendaya & Tom Holland Are Officially Engaged After Debuting Ring at 2025 Golden Globes

When Zendaya appeared on the 2025 Golden Globes red carpet, all eyes were drawn to the dazzling diamond ring on her ring finger, immediately sparking speculation that her and longtime beau, Tom Holland have decided to tie the knot. PEOPLE has reportedly confirmed the news with a family source to the two Hollywood stars who revealed that Holland has proposed to Zendaya over the holidays recently though the source also confirmed that it was not a surprise. "Everyone close to them knew an engagement was happening," said the family source, but no one knew exactly when it would happen, "He's always been crazy about her. He always knew she was the one. They have something very special." Holland later shared the happy news with loved ones during the New Year.

The celebrity couple have been dating since 2021 after co-starring in the Marvel Spider-Man movies and have been going strong since. Fans are delighted with the news though a celebrity wedding is still some ways away with both Zendaya and Holland busy with ongoing projects.

The actor may not have joined the red carpet with her beau Tom Holland, but it seemed like there was a subtle detail related to him in her outfit: Zendaya wore a huge rock on her ring finger.

The performer was nominated for a Golden Globe for her performance as Tashi Donaldson in Luca Guadagnino's Challengers film, and despite not winning the award, she's certainly radiating with happiness. Her beautiful Louis Vuitton burnt orange gown and Bvlgari jewellery set the internet on fire, but the rock on her ring finger created a frenzy unlike any other.

Everyone was holding their breath when Zendaya stepped onto the 2025 Golden Globe red carpet, but what caught everyone by surprise was what appeared to be a diamond ring on none other than her ring finger. Online, fans are speculating that Zendaya has soft-launched her engagement to Holland. The couple met on the set of Spider-Man: Homecoming (2017) and have been dating since 2021.

Holland was nowhere to be found at the ceremony tonight, but this isn't unusual for the couple. In a recent interview for Men's Health, he talked about why the pair haven't walked on the red carpet together and have opted to support each other by staying on the sidelines.

“Because it’s not my moment, it’s her moment, and if we go together, it’s about us,” he said in the interview. The duo also sparked engagement/marriage rumors in April 2024 when a source told PEOPLE that they've been thinking about the next step. This speculation has yet to be confirmed by either of Zendaya's or Holland's team.
