The rush of celebrity dating news continues as it was confirmed by both parties that the two stars have in fact, been dating for 6 months.
Another day, another celebrity couple! The rumour mill has been churning extra hard these past few weeks with many top South Korean celebrities revealed to be dating or breaking up and it looks like the mill isn't about to stop.
Today, South Korean news outlets reported that Chaeyoung of popular K-pop girl group TWICE and renowned R&B singer-songwriter Zion. T are currently dating and have been seeing each other romantically for 6 months. The news surprised fans and was later confirmed by the stars' respective talent agencies, JYP Entertainment and The Black Label. The former stated after mounting questions from the press that, "The two of them are currently dating with positive feelings for one another," and that, "They are supporting each other."
According to reports, Chaeyoung and Zion. T were friends first and first met after being introduced to each other via a mutual acquaintance. The two became fast friends and the relationship eventually bloomed into a romantic one. Both stars reportedly enjoy quiet dates together at Gangbuk-gu area and have been quietly giving one another support.
There seems to be a trend of celebrity couple reveals that have forced some stars who were privately seeing each other to now be in the centre of the public eye. Just recently, two celebrity couples that emerged — Aespa's Karina and actor Lee Jae-wook as well as Han So-hee and Ryu Jun-yeol — called it quits shortly after it was revealed that they were dating. Karina and Lee, in particular, mentioned the intense scrutiny, stresses and emotional toll of publicly dating someone as one of the reasons for their break-up.
