Naomi Campbell is famous for being cautious when it comes to airplanes, taking several steps to ensure she doesn't catch germs when traveling. The coronavirus outbreak has caused the supermodel to intensify her routine at the airport, now extending to the use of protective suits, masks and goggles.

Campbell shared several images of her at an airport, where she is seen in a hooded suit, mask, high boots and gloves. She captioned the series of photos, taken by her friend Linda Evangelista, with "safety first".

Fans can also expect another YouTube video documenting Campbell's extreme measures - the supermodel said the images are "coming soon" to her channel.

Her previous video, shared in July 2019, took viewers to their standard flight routine, in which she meticulously cleaned "anything you could touch" using latex gloves and antibacterial wipes.

"That's what I do on every plane I board," she said. "I don't care what people think of me, it's my health and it makes me feel better."

Her instagram post sparked off a reaction by Howie Mandel. The host of "America's Got Talent" and known germaphobe took to instagram to share a hazmat suit and gas mask, with a side by side comparison of Naomi's outfit and a caption, "Who wore it better?"

In such uncertain times like these, these little bouts of humour are certainly welcome. And of course, be sure to practise responsibility during this period: wash your hands, don't touch your face, and do not go out if you are sick!
