After months of speculation, Lady Gaga has finally dropped Chromatica, her sixth and highly anticipated album, and it comes with an added treat.  “Sour Candy” sees the Art Pop singer collaborating with none other than K-Pop girl group, Blackpink. The highly anticipated collaboration is a straight banger, a short and sassy electronic track that has already ranked #1 on iTunes charts in 57 countries within mere hours of its release.

The track features a mix of English and Korean music, where Blackpink and Lady Gaga inform anyone of trying to date them to accept their damage.

"It was a really exciting collaboration. I wanted to celebrate them because they love powerful women like us, and they also wanted to celebrate me, and we had a great time together with this song. I was excited to hear them interpret the song in Korean, and told them that the part was so creative and fun. I was impressed when I heard their singing voice. I'm a woman, really talented and proud to be the 5th member of BLACKPINK (in this song),” says Lady Gaga to Japanese media outlet TV Grove.

“Thank you for having us be a part of this, Gaga! We love you so so much. Hope you all like it,” says Rosé, one fourth of Blackpink, in her instagram caption.
