Dior Celebrates 70 Years at the Musée des Arts Décoratifs
To celebrate 70 historic years since its founding, the House of Dior unveils Christian Dior: Couturier du Rêve, an exhibition taking place at the Musée des Arts Decoratifs in Paris. This is the first time such a rich retrospective has been dedicated to Dior and is the largest to take place at the museum. Couturier du Rêve brings together the work of its founder Monsieur Christian Dior and his successors, from Yves Saint Laurent to Mark Bohan, Gianfranco Ferré, John Galliano, Raf Simons, and Maria Grazia Chiuri, with over 300 dresses and hundreds of photographs of fashion, sketches, perfumes, paintings and other documents that will plunges the visitor into the universe of Dior.
The exhibition's opening event was held on 3 July on the grounds of the Musée des Arts Decoratifs. In attendance were Dior ambassadors Natalie Portman, Jennifer Lawrence, Robert Pattison, and Bella Hadid, alongside other esteemed guests and friends of Dior such as Eva Herzigova, Cara Delevingne, Karlie Kloss, Chiara Ferragni, Laetitia Casta, Zhang Ziyi, Gemma Arterton, Julia Restoin Roitfeld, and many others. After discovering the exhibition, the guests adjourned to Loulou, the museum's restaurant for an evening cocktail party.
