South-African soloist, Tyla has absolutely blown up this year with her viral hit track, 'Water' that took the world by storm. In fact, the 22-year-old singer-songwriter recently nabbed her first Grammy at the 66th Annual Grammys this year for Best African Music Performance for that single alone. She not only became the first person to win the newly introduced category but also became the youngest African artist to do so.

Riding on the highs of her monumental win, Tyla dropped her first self-titled studio album last week which contain 15 tracks with features from American rapper Travis Scott and Nigerian songstress, Tems. And if rumours are right, we might be seeing Blackpink's Lisa as a future feature or collaborator too as the two stars recently showed that they are good friends!

In an Instagram story shared by the singer, Tyla revealed that Lisa was the first person she showed her finished album to and had the official first listen. The two were in a studio listening to Tyla's single, 'Art' from her album and she captioned the post with, "sweetest gorllll, played her some of my favourite songs on the album… Definitely a LISA x TYLA collab down the line." She later confirmed with Reuters that she is speaking with the K-pop global idol on working together in the future, stating, "We’ve been speaking about making a song together, so yes, for sure." We certainly cannot wait!
