Margot Robbie, Dua Lipa & More Rock the Pink Carpet at the Barbie World Premiere
Pink is THE colour among the A-list showing for the Barbie world premiere held at Los Angeles
Fresh off of her Barbie press tour in Seoul, Margot Robbie is slaying the pink carpet once again with her fellow cast mates; Ryan Gosling, America Ferrera, Issa Rae, and many more. The stars got all dolled up for the world premiere of Greta Gerwig's highly buzzed about film, Barbie. Held at the Shrine auditorium in LA, the premiere, which was already a star-studded event with its A-list cast, was graced by even more celebrities including the OG IRL Barbie, Nicki Minaj.
Naturally, the star of the pink carpet was none other than Margot Robbie who arrived in a showstopping custom black strapless, sequinned and mermaidesque Schiaparelli look. The absence of pink might cause one to raise an eyebrow but those in the know will recognise that its a recreation of ‘Solo In The Spotlight’ Barbie from 1960. Complete with A befitting reference seeing as the spotlight is certainly on Robbie who perfectly portrayed the plastic icon.
Pink was still the colour of choice for most, including Ken himself (read: Ryan Gosling) who opted for a pastel pink Gucci suit. Though there's certainly variety in the pink carpet looks like Dua Lipa's custom crystal mesh slip dress by Bottega Veneta and Gal Gadot in a tan mini dress from JW Anderson's Spring/Summer 2024 collection.
