Caitlyn Jenner's Debut MAC Collection

MAC Cosmetics is on a roll that shows no signs of stopping! After 2016's stellar collaborations – Helmut Newton, Selena, Mariah Carey, Charlotte Olympia, Brant Brothers, Star Trek and Trolls being some highlights – we can't wait to see what else the brand's got lined up for 2017.

First up, though, is the Caitlyn Jenner collection of makeup, a full 15-piece range that celebrates that brand's philosophy of championing all ages, races and sexes.

Following her milestone public coming out, Jenner's been quiet on the beauty front. If anything, her daughter Kylie Jenner has instead proven herself quite the makeup maven with her sell-out hype-fronted line of Kylie Lip Kits. The Jenners are in strong company, though, and the collection Caitlyn's created with MAC features a mix of bestselling favourite shades repackaged and new ones that were designed to be universally flattering.

Wholesome names like Kindness, Tolerance, Worthy and Understanding hint at her intentions. To many trans women and individuals exploring their sexuality, makeup offers a way into embodying and living the feminine, and we love that Caitlyn and MAC want to represent uninhibited self love with their products – even if in name.

Most importantly, though, are the products – and here are some of our favourites you should run for. The pressed eyeshadows in Malibu Bronze and Worthy make for beautiful everyday colours which can be easily dialed up or down. Also worth noting are the lipsticks in Authentic Red (true to its name) and Rockit!, a perfect mix of pink and mauve nude tones. If the success and rapid sell out of previous collabs are any indication, Caitlyn's won't be on the shelves very long.
