Harry Styles Fronts L'Officiel Hommes Singapore December / January 2020
Just in time for the holidays, the first issue of L’Officiel Hommes Singapore in three and a half years has arrived – with a Harry Styles cover story to boot. On the brink of his sophomore release, the pop-rock prince and face of Gucci’s new fragrance, Gucci Mémoire d'une Odeur, talks everything from album Fine Line to his all-organic bond with Gucci’s Alessandro Michele.
On writing new music for his album, the Gucci-clad Styles tells us: “Songwriting is like surfing. You can train as much as you want to get on the board, but sometimes the wave comes and sometimes it doesn't. And yet, we still need to train to become better. You can't just sit down and decide to write a song and think you've written the best song of your life. It takes a lot of work.”
The former One Direction member is in good company – this issue, he's joined by Chinese pop royalty Cai Xukun and Louis Vuitton’s Virgil Abloh, who speak to us exclusively about their latest work; and South Korean model-of-the-moment Xu Meen, who dons some of the season's most directional togs.
