Get the Look: Valentino's Graphic Eye Makeup
In a runway presentation that straddled the line between the sacred and the profane, Valentino's Pierpaolo Picciolo delivered a thought-provoking collection at the Paris Haute Couture Week. But even if the runway collection is somewhat inaccessible (and divisive) to real life, it was the beauty looks that had us itching to recreate pronto.
For this season, Valentino steered towards a fresh-faced look – a 180 from the dark, moody makeup looks from past seasons. In addition to clean, lighted skin, the highlight of each model's look was the white make up in the eyes, applied in the inner and outer corners. It doesn't take much to recreate the look; simply pencil in a white/off-white khol liner to your tear ducts and outer lash lines. The result is a fresh departure from the typical cat-eye look.
