Inspired by surrealist references, Peter Philips, Creative and Image Director of Dior makeup reimagines bold looks for the brand’s Haute Couture collection. Complexion and lips are muted to allow dramatic eye makeup to stand out.

"Surrealism is also a major artistic trend for me, and the works of Salvador Dali, Man Ray and German photographer Grete Stern are references that I particularly appreciate for their provocative vision," says Philips.

Natural and luminous complexion is achieved with Diorskin Forever, and acts the perfect canvas to the look.  The perfect answer to a perfectly defined eyes – Diorshow On Stage matte liner. is then used to achieve a graphic eyeliner with exaggerated lashes. The beauty maestro adds, “Drawn with fullness and precision on the upper and lower eyelids, they frame the eyes by stretching them towards the temples.”
