Do Like Sharon Stone and Bella Hadid: Take a Break from Makeup
So it appears that the new makeup trend is, well, no makeup. And we mean it literally this time (who remembers the copious amount of makeup we had to put on to look like we had no makeup on, pre-quarantine?).
A lot has changed in just the past month alone. With most beauty and hairdressing salons closed, our regular grooming upkeeping standards have been thrown out the window, too.
Even celebrity names like Alessandra Ambrosio and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley are embracing a change in their beauty routines, with images shared on their Instagram accounts photos of late without the use of extravagant makeup looks, instead opting for clean, fresh and breathing skin.
Of course, this does not mean that you shouldn't put makeup on - do what's best for you.
At the same time, it's the perfect time to let loose and do what you want with your routine. It goes without saying that our regular schedules have changed immensely, so you can definitely let your skin to take a breather from the heavy layers of makeup we've been so used to applying, letting our skincare products take centre stage.
