Must-Have Products from Huda Beauty
We've seen many a beauty influencer rave about these cult beauty products and now, after much anticipation, Huda Beauty is finally available in Singapore! Founded by beauty guru Huda Kattan (@hudabeauty), who is also Instagram's top beauty personality, the brand's line of makeup includes foundation, eye and face palettes, false eyelashes, liquid lipsticks and more.
Ahead of its launch on sephora.sg, we tried some of the brand's star products and are happy to report that we were not disappointed. In fact, we were thoroughly impressed. Below, we pick out our favourites and a few more we need to try.

Desert Dusk Eyeshadow Palette
We fell in love with the Desert Dusk Eyeshadow Palette ($100) the moment we swatched the three incredible duochrome shades (Retrograde, Twilight and Celestial) and the pure glitter shade (Cosmo). And those are just 4 of the 18 shades in this versatile Arabian desert-inspired palette, which also includes 8 matte shadows and 6 pearl shadows. It's quickly become our go-to for nights out — even our friends have been borrowing it. Now that Huda Beauty is available on sephora.sg, we're no longer sharing.
#FauxFilter Foundation
If you're into the natural, barely-there kind of base makeup, Huda Beauty's #FauxFilter Foundation ($75) probably isn't for you. But for those who appreciate a reliable full coverage foundation with an Instagram-flawless finish, get your hands on this before it runs out. We're not kidding — shades were sold out within days of its launch in the US last year. We love this for its velvety formula that blurs imperfections to help skin look smoother with a radiant matte finish. Plus, it comes in 30 shades so there's definitely a match for everyone.
Liquid Matte
It's the matte liquid lipstick we've always dreamed of. Huda Beauty's Liquid Matte ($40) is extremely lightweight and comfortable thanks to antioxidants and an exclusive complex that helps keep lips hydrated. The formula goes on sheer, but intensifies as it dries to a trusty, transfer-proof matte finish. As for longevity, it stayed on better than most liquid lips when we had pizza (the ultimate test). We love this shade Bombshell, which is a nude that doesn't wash out our skin tone. We also like Heartbreaker, a sexy pink-red, and Trendsetter, a warm brown that's one of founder Huda Kattan's favourite shades.
Obsessions Eyeshadow Palette
We love our warm toned eyeshadow palettes, and this Huda Beauty Obsessions Eyeshadow Palette ($55) in Coral is a travel and gym bag staple. It's got 7 creamy matte shades that work for everyday, plus 2 duochrome shimmers for more standout eye looks. The Obsessions Eyeshadow Palette also comes in more shade themes like Gemstone (all super sparkly shadows), Mauve (dusty rose and plum hues), Smokey (great for sultry smokey eye looks), and Warm Brown (versatile warm neutrals).
Classic Lash Collection
For those who aren't willingly enslaved to lash extensions like we usually are, these are the falsies to stock up on. Huda Beauty's Classic Lash Collection ($40 each) is the original range designed by Huda Kattan. They're lightweight and range from subtle to more dramatic styles. We like the Samantha design for medium volume, long lashes that amplify any eye makeup look without being too over-the-top.
