An ode to the Romani culture, the scent brings to mind a colourful nomadic lifestyle. With woody notes of pine needle and sandalwood combined with intense amber and fresh citrus, it envelops the hair in a long-lasting and luminous embrace. “Gypsy Water smells divine in the hair. Great for K-BBQ nights. Plus, it’s travel friendly too,” says Hanan Haddad, Digital Editor.
BYREDO GYPSY WATER HAIR SPRAY, $106
A whiff of the Diptyque Orpheon will transport you back to Paris in the early ‘60s. As a tribute to the vibrant and joyful Saint-Germain quarter, its effervescence bouquet combines notes of vivacious juniper berry, deep cedar, warm tonka bean and rich jasmine. “Gorgeous scent. I got so many compliments wearing this one and looked forward to spritzing it every time,” says Hanan Haddad.

Longing for a summer escape? Head to the Mediterranean with Dolce & Gabbana’s Light Blue Eau de Toilette. A fresh, floral-fruity fragrance, it captures the sun and sea with green apple, bamboo, jasmine, white rose amber, musk and cedar. “This is like one of those lime popsicles with a vanilla filling, in fragrance form. Almost impossible to dislike,” says Ian Lee.
DOLCE & GABBANA BEAUTY LIGHT BLUE EAU DE TOILETTE, FROM $140
The right scent can uplift the senses, and the Gucci Flora Gorgeous Gardenia Eau de Parfum does just that. A joyful floral scent built around the white gardenia flower, it’s blended with jasmine absolute, pear blossom and sweet brown sugar accords for a delicious elixir. “A juicy, floral scent that’s youthful yet sophisticated; light enough for day time but also with enough oomph, sillage and depth for the night. It’s very delicately powerful,” says Hanan Haddad.
