Katy Perry Announces Her Pregnancy In Her New Music Video
Despite recent news of Katy Perry’s grandmother Ann Hudson passing away at the age of 99, she had the opportunity to see the singer pregnant.
Katy Perry is expecting her first child with her fiancé, actor Orlando Bloom, which was announced during her new music video, Never Worn White, which was released earlier last week, where her pregnant belly is revealed in the few last scenes.
The pop star, who has been dating Bloom since 2016, explained her decision to spread her good news through a music video. “I knew I should tell it in the best possible way, which is through a music video. I think that's how I talk to [my fans.] That's how we communicate." The singer also added that she already has food cravings typical of pregnant women, in the form of burritos and Tabasco sauce.
Bloom and Perry met at the 2016 Golden Globes when he reportedly stole a hamburger from her table. They started dating shortly after, but broke up in February 2017. The following year, the two rekindled their romance and were engaged by February 2019. Bloom made a proposal during a surprise helicopter trip, where the couple landed on a rooftop and was received by family and friends.
The actor already has a nine-year-old son with ex-wife Miranda Kerr .
